History

Lillie Brothers was established in 1974 when brothers Jack and Fred started their own doorstep milk delivery round in Falmouth.

 By 1986 the business began expanding and Jack’s wife Heather joined the company, helping the brothers with paperwork, orders and deliveries. Heather is still keeping us organised and is recognisable as the friendly voice on the office telephone line.

 By 1992 Lillie Brothers had truly become a family firm as Fred’s son David joined the company, focusing on the new sector of local wholesale deliveries.

 Adding another Lillie to the company roster, in 1998 Jack’s son Graham joined with a view to expanding the wholesale side of the business.  Graham is now the commercial director whose role encompasses everything from business development to marketing and transport management.

 Jack’s daughter Clare became a member of the team in 2016, becoming the company’s customer service advisor and social media manager.

 Now – in 2018 – Lillie Brothers is a large and expanding wholesaler covering the entirety of Cornwall, parts of West Devon, Plymouth and Exeter. We have multi-drop rounds covering every area six days per week, and maintain a seven day per week local doorstep round in Falmouth and Mawnan Smith.
