Lillie Brothers was established in 1974 when Jack and Fred Lillie started with one doorstep round. In 1986 Jack’s wife Heather joined, helping the Brothers with paper work and also deliveries. Heather soon became a valued member of the team and is now perhaps best known as the friendly voice at the other end of the phone.

In 1992 Fred’s son David joined the company and in 1998 Jack’s son Graham joined, focusing on the wholesale round in Truro and St Mawes. Graham is now the sales manager focusing on developing the business.

Although Lillie Brothers started with one doorstep round in Falmouth, the Company soon branched into the wholesale sector delivering to all major hotels, b&b’s, shops, camp sites, schools, nursing homes, sandwich makers, cafes and restaurants. The rounds gradually built up through word of mouth and today Lillie Brothers deliver throughout Cornwall.

Today the Company now has nine valued employees with a large selection of fresh dairy products and the capability to cover all areas of Cornwall. With a state of the art computer system, each round has its own hand held computer with daily print outs and deliveries being made using refrigerated vehicles.

And we still continue to supply fresh “pintas” to our customers in Falmouth & Mawnan Smith direct to their doorsteps.
